Bye Bye Fat Ass!

So, two weeks ago my husband emailed me and told me that they were doing a "Biggest Loser" type contest at work. The winner wins $1200. Since I'm FOREVER on a diet, I was super excited. I'm playing along (sort of doing the "at home game") and hubby and I even have side bet of $100. So far, we've both lost about 8 pounds. Whoooot Whoooot!!! We've really been taking our diet & exercise seriously. I've been walking or riding my recumbent bike every day. He has been lifting weights and riding his bike. The contest lasts for 3 months. My goal is to lose 30 pounds. I know that's a little ambitious, but that gives me something to work toward. I'll be happy with 20 or 25! I need to lose more than that, but that's a short term goal.

Since October, I've lost about 15 pounds. As of two weeks ago, I weighed in at 216. Today I weighed 208. I'm reeeeeeeeeeeeally pining to get below 200! Only 8 more pounds to go!

  1. Good for you on taking the initiative. Money is always a good way to bribe someone to do something. LoL.
    My sister basically cut out all carbs, then slowly reintroduced them, and she has lost so much weight. I'm way proud of her.
